Learn Tibetan - 2009
We are very happy that Lama David Curtis returned to Boston to teach reading and writing the Tibetan script. The weekend of June 26th 2009 he covered some of the more advanced parts of the language. Lama David is widely recognized for the program he created and his engaging teaching style.
Lama David also gave a wonderful Dharma talk on Thursday, June 25th. The topic of the talk was "Ganges Mahamudra: Tilopa's Pith Instructions to Naropa". (Details)
Learn Tibetan - 2008
In June 2008 the KTK hosted for the second time two weekends of intensive study of the Tibetan language with David Curtis. After a thorough introduction in the first weekend, we were able to start looking at the opening paragraphs of the "Jewel Ornament of Liberation" and more advanced grammar the second weekend.

The KTK hosted two full weekend courses on reading and writing Tibetan in April 2007. The course was given by David Curtis, founder of the Tibetan Language Institute.
Lama Norlha Rinpoche visits Boston
In September 2006 Lama Norlha Rinpoche visited the center to teach the Medicine Buddha Sadhana and bestow the Medicine Buddha empowerment.
